Dealer training in Malaysia
As part of Multitone’s ongoing support to its partner programme, three dealers attended a week-long training course in July 2009 at Multitone’s Malacca site in Malaysia. The course provided information and examples of Multitone’s communication solutions, including systems supporting Polycom and Aastra telephony and cordless products.
The main emphasis of the 8-day session was the combined Multitone and Polycom product range. It provided dealers with hands-on experience of the technology, demonstrating operation and application and giving dealers an open forum for questions and discussion. Access Integrators also formed a key part of the programme, providing alarm and messaging notifications to DECT handsets.
The training session gave an overview of the full product offering and applications of Multitone paging, staff protection, telephony and alarms & messaging product ranges. It proved to be a great opportunity for Multitone to share its knowledge of product application, providing examples of industries where solutions have been installed and their application.
Attending the training course were dealers from around the world, including Zener Communications from Abu Dhabi who design, supply, install and maintain communication products; Acetek Systems Pty Ltd. from Australia, supplying medical alarms, security and communication systems; and Ashtac based in Malaysia who specialise in telecommunications and wireless products. In addition, Multitone was also joined by the Malaysian government marketing team, freelance dealers and healthcare officials.
