Calling all Coastguards and Fire Brigades!
Emergency services communications experts Multitone visited the Cambridge Fire Control Centre in June to exhibit the specialised Firecoder messaging system, specifically designed for use by Fire and Coastguard departments.
Multitone’s Firecoder communication system provides secure, instantaneous messaging, which is crucial when lives could be in danger. Multitone displayed the Firecoder at BAPCO’s East Midlands and Anglian regional exhibition on 3 June. The event received visitors from authorities such as the police force, fire & rescue, the military, coastguards, local authorities and emergency medical services.
With Fires and Coastguards being so important, it is necessary that they receive secure, instant alerts for a quick response. Multitone’s Firecoder system sends paging messages to both wholetime and retained fire stations, alerting stations and fire fighters to calls that need to be attended.
Launched in 1993, BAPCO is now acknowledged as The Association in the British Isles for all professionals in public safety and civil contingencies communication and information systems.
